What is your trademark as an artist?
I don´t have one yet.
But I´m working hard on it.

What can the festival visitors expect from your piece?
They can imagine a small flying ball and a bear climbing on a tree.

Where do you get inspiration?
In tasty food, in crazy parties and from observing bad and good performances.

Which role do other arts play in your work?
A huge one!

What are your plans as an artist?
First I have to finish the paper work of my last project.
Then I´m going to start preparations for new ones: finding a communicative prostitute with a nice presence for the X-Apartments project for this fall in Vienna, working on lyrics for songs and practicing e-guitar. In late fall I will start to work with twelve dancers in Salzburg.

Kurzbiografie
Oleg Soulimenko ist ein russischer Performer und Choreograf, der in Wien und Moskau lebt und arbeitet. 1985 schloss er sein Ingenieurstudium in Moskau ab, danach fiel die Entscheidung, Tänzer zu werden. Er gründete das Saira Blanche Theater im Jahr 1990. Seine Produktionen wurden in Ost- und Westeuropa, in den USA, in Kanada und Isreal gezeigt: Aufführungsorte waren Tanzquartier Wien und brut Theater in Vienna, Performa 07 in New York, Steirischer Herbst in Graz, Tangente in Montreal, Cankarev Dom in Ljubljana, Dostojewski Theater in St. Petersburg, Kunstverein Hannover, MAK ? Österreichisches Museum für Angewandte Kunst, Lentos Kunstmuseum Linz und Kunsthalle Wien.
